Narrow street shadow

Another shadow shot I took in Gozo. In the centre of Victoria there are many narrow streets. This street is a little wider than most streets in this part of town. In fact the long shadow made by the row of houses is as narrow as most streets are in this part of town. At the end of the street you can see the shadow continuing in a narrow street.

The narrow alley of a street is so charming! The iron balconies overlook life below, it would seem Could we be transplanted back a few centuries? Romantic we feel at the look here. Perhaps it is Verona in Shakespeare's time, with the young couple in love on or about the balconies.

A look at a faraway time and place!

You need some elbow room to photograph on streets like that. Very nice!

Nice Shadow Shot. I'd probably feel trapped walking down that street in the background. Yikes. Probably originally foot pathes, right?

Such compact buildings, but as they cluster round the narrow street, somehow the street becomes a lively personality of light and shadow! Delightful photo!

What a lovely shot. I too love the balconies.

Like Ralph said, very Shakespearean.

look at all of those lovely doors! When we travel, we are always taking pictures of doors (as our husband's just shake their heads!!)

That's a street? It's so tiny! I do love the row of charming little abodes!

Old & vintage street can't win the new ones.

I love, love narrow and old streets with all small charming shops, can't be better!
