Geranium shadow

Another shadow I captured in Gozo. This time the shadow of a lone, little geranium. If I look at the geraniums in our own garden in Holland right now they are so much bigger. Guess it's the heat and lack of water that kept this one so small. Still I liked its shadow enough to take a picture.

Hope your Sunday is filled with sun and shadows! Enjoy!

The pavement below is an uninteresting sepia brick. A plain look, so even a dry flower still adds a simple beauty to the scene. The shadow compels us to look down, it making the pavement seem a little bit nicer!

“My faithful shadow,”
boasted the geranium,
“what a fine fellow!”

I am reminded of those wonderful little robots that used to appear at the bottom of the screen on Mystery Science Theatre.

I like your Gozo Geranium. It's small but sweet. And the shadow bold and beautiful!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

I believe your Shadow Shot of the geraniums is prettier than the actual geranium! Makes them look fuller. Sweet.
