Willow shadows

This lane of pollard willows looks really "crazy" with all those whimsical shadows and the trees themself looking so artistic.

Today I read something about the sky being so blue that day because no planes were flying, causing no white stripes in the sky. Mmm this made me look questionly at the sky today, another sunny day, and indeed the sky wasn't as blue as last week but was covered with white stripes.
Interesting........

What fun shadow shots, Carin! They're different and I love them! We have lovely skies and clouds here today, but it's very windy and therefore a little chillier than I care for. But it is beautiful! Hope you have a great weekend!

Indeed, this grove is unique in shape. The lane winding through trees is a path into the unknown, the shadows neat. The sky is blue, so taking advantage of a beautiful day is the perfect thing to do - a lovely capture, as always!

Strange trees making wonderful shadows.

Gorgeous walkway! And those trees have some interesting shapes attached - almost bulbous! Just new growth? And lovely parade of shadows cast by the tress!

Those pollard willows are interesting looking trees. I don't think we have those over my way.

Super blue skies are bliss! It's becoming more of a rarity to find them stripe free. Such a shame!
