Interesting! So, who is this Black Pete? I think you've mentioned him before in earlier posts I'm not sure. I'm going to have to look at your archives. Does he show up around the holidays or at anytime?

Hi PAZ, Black Pete's are the helpers of St Nicolas. On 5th December we celebrate the feast of St Nicolas in Holland. It's a feast for children. The 3 weeks before the real feast children place their shoe next to the chimney and in the morning Black Pete will have filled the shoe with something sweet or a little gift. On 5th December he visits most homes and leaves loads of presents.
