Mosta parish church

Mosta parish church, also known as Rotunda because of its round shape. It is really big as you can see on the next picture where we are entering the church. See how small we are next to those pillars.Inside it is really beautiful with all paintings made by Maltese artists. Take a closer look at one of the paintings carried and overlooked by an angel. You can visit the sacrista of this church to see the replica of a bomb. According to the people of Mosta this bomb fell through the dome without exploding during the 2nd World War while the church was filled with people.

What a magnificent old church! I love all the intricate details in it! And that bomb makes for a good story. :)
