The olive trilogy

Yesterday I ordered the sequel to the olive trilogy, it's called the olive route and according to the author there is a part set in Malta which makes me want to read it even more.

The olive trilogy are three books I enjoyed reading so much. They tell the story of Carol and Michel who buy an abandoned farm in the South of France. Despite their own jobs, all over the world, they seem to spend as much time as possible on this old farm and start to bring it back to its former glory.

Besides that they treasure the olive trees on their land and take good care of them to harvest their own olives. Carol gets really infatuated with the olive trees and the book I ordered is about her travels around the Mediterranean Sea to find out about the history of the olive tree. Will tell you more about this book after I read it.

The first three books are a real relaxed read telling about problems and difficulties Carol and Michel have to overcome. It feels as if you are there with them, on their farm in the hot Mediteranean world. It tells about their love for each other, about their love for nature and for all creatures great and small. I can only say one thing: read the books yourself and feel the warmth with which the story is written!
