Here you see the Rhine Bridge in Emmerich
Here you see a boat filled with containers
Before we went home we bought Deutsche brötchen to take back home with us.
The match ended in a draw (3-3)

These are the boarders of St. Monica School in Birkirkara, Malta (christmas 1979).
You might be wondering why I placed this photo as it is not made with my own camera. There is a reason though. I lost contact with most boarders but am quiet curious to know what has become of them. So if you are on this picture do place a comment to let me know or send me an e-mail. Let me know where you are living now and how you are doing.
Malta lace always reminds me of seeing Maltese women sitting outside their front doors working lace. It also reminds me of the family living across the road from where we lived (in Victoria). They made a lot of Maltese handcrafts and they thought me how to weave.
If you click here you can see my friend Alda weaving.
These books about Malta and Gozo can be found in my collection.
A recent book I read about Gozo is Angelina's Ghost and I really enjoyed reading it. It is not in my collection yet but whenever I go to Gozo for a holiday I shall surely buy it.

I even entered a sewer pipe to look inside.
The Dutch wouldn't be Dutch if they hadn't invented a bike to inspect the sewer pipes in the past.
There were lots of things to see and learn, all concerning water. Here you can see a man and his son cycling along the riverside. The son asks questions and you have to give the answers.
By standing on the weighing machine you can see how much water is in your body.
Approximately 60% of the human body is made up of water.
Here we are in Arnhem, these buildings overlook the trainstation.
Ah, that looks like a nice place to go and have a coffee.
It was delicious and this time I did eat the chocolate mushroom.
After relaxing a bit we walked into town.
Arnhem is red at the moment because Marco Borsato is giving several concerts
Symfonica in Rosso in Gelredome.
A flower kiosk, you see them at every street corner.
We finished the day with something typical Dutch (and his favourite food) before taking the train home.
